Happy Rolph’s

Happy Rolph’s is a municipal park on the shores of Lake Ontario. The 15.06 acre park is an excellent place for a family outing or a date with that special someone.

Beautiful scenery all around makes a perfect setting for a picnic. Bring a blanket to lie out or use one of the many picnic tables provided.

Happy Rolph’s features a free petting farm, home to a number of farm animals including goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, bunnies, pigs, cows, and horses. Pellets are available for feeding the animals, so be sure to remember to bring your quarters. Hand sanitizers and hand washing stations are available to clean up those messy hands. The petting farm is open from Victoria day to Thanksgiving weekend.

There is a large playground with everything a child could ask for; slides, swings, and monkey bars galore.

Take a walk along the tree lined path which leads to the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario. Just across a lovely quaint little bridge there is an inlet pond where many geese, ducks, and local bird varieties find their home. Bring along some bread and feed these birds.

There are washrooms located on the premises.

Happy Rolph’s is a great place to experience nature first hand.

9/11 Walkway

Twenty seven Canadians passed away in the World Trade Centre attack on September 11, 2001. The 9/11 walkway was built in memory of these victims. It includes 27 varieties of deciduous trees, with benches in place along the trail to enjoy the beautiful views.
