Mick and Angelo’s

Mick and Angelo’s has been a staple Italian restaurant on the west end of Lundy’s Lane for many years. It features classic pasta dishes, calzones, pizzas, wraps, finger foods, and several types of salads.

The restaurant features several separate dining areas, both inside and out. A moderately sized bar with large screen TVs and tacky video game terminals. There is a large patio that is a pleasure to utilize during the summer months, when live entertainment is commonly featured. The dining area is normally well kept, however the floor can sometimes be a mess after rush hour.

We normally find the restaurant staff to be courteous. At times they can come off as stressed out, significantly affecting the quality of the service. Generally the staff does perform adequately.

The food is tasty and there is a wide variety to choose from. Presentation needs some work as the lack of garnish and any sort of pizazz left us feeling as though we are dining in a cafeteria.

Mick and Angelo’s is expensive during the dinner hours. $20 a plate pasta simply isn’t justifiable for a mid ranged Italian restaurant.

Unfortunately, Mick and Angelo’s is on the bottom of our Italian restaurant list. There are simply far too many reasonably priced excellent Italian restaurants to choose from in Niagara Falls. However, if you are looking for a place to have a drink and take in some tunes during the summer then Mick’s may be the place for you.
